Description
This retrofit bracket allows a Transmission Throttle Valve Actuator, or TTVA, to be installed on 48RE transmission cases that were not originally manufactured with the threaded mounting bosses.
It is most commonly used when installing an early 2003–2004 48RE case in a 2004.5 and newer truck that requires factory-style TTVA mounting provisions.
The bracket provides a clean, functional mounting solution and allows a wider range of 48RE cases to be used in TTVA-equipped applications.
