In vehicles equipped with applicable Chrysler transmissions, common complaints include long or slipping 2-3 shifts, direct clutch failure and poor line pressure. These issues can be caused by pressure leaking through a worn front servo cover and past the servo pin. In third gear, direct clutch oil is present beneath the servo cover to release the band, and leakage in this area can negatively affect 2-3 shift quality and direct clutch durability.
