Description
This kit includes extended-length ARP flexplate-to-crankshaft bolts, Nord-Lock washers and a bottoming tap for proper installation.
MPT recommends this kit for all manual valve body applications, especially those expected to exceed 4,000 RPM.
No crankshaft drilling is required. The included bottoming tap extends the existing crankshaft threads approximately 1/4 inch, or about four additional threads, allowing the longer ARP bolts to seat properly and achieve maximum thread engagement.
For best results, tap slowly and carefully. Remove the tap frequently to clear debris, then use compressed air to clean the holes before final bolt installation.
